About the Author

Ellen graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. and M.A. in The History & Sociology of Science, focusing on the history of medicine. Thereafter, she earned her J.D. from The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. For many years, she defended complex medical malpractice tort claims. She currently arbitrates disputes in the medical realm. She is also trained as a transformative mediator. Throughout this time, Ellen researched and studied mindful parenting and conscious living.
