With over 30 years of experience as a qualified preschool and gymnastics coach, Sophie Ince has dedicated her career to helping children grow in confidence, coordination and creativity. She currently runs a thriving recreational gymnastics club for children of all ages, where the focus is on fun, inclusion and celebrating every child's individual achievements, no matter their ability. A lifelong lover of storytelling and song writing, Sophie was inspired to combine her passions to create Hubert's Gymnastics Adventures, a playful and purposeful series designed to take young children on imaginative journeys that support their physical development. Through hidden actions and the memorable melodies written by Sophie, the stories aim to bring joy, movement and a sense of accomplishment to every little reader.

The author is a qualified gymnastics coach with a professional background in marketing strategy. A lifelong love of storytelling and poetry has always run alongside her career, and after completing a creative writing course, she felt inspired to share her creativity with a wider audience. The idea for the Hubert's Gymnastics Adventures series was born during a deeply challenging time, spending long hours in hospital waiting rooms as her daughter underwent treatment for a brain tumour. Her daughter, then a university undergraduate student of Film and English, played a pivotal role in shaping the story's structure and was instrumental in developing the main plot. Sharing the middle name Louise, the pair chose to publish under a name that represents them both, capturing the collaborative spirit and emotional bond behind the book. Writing became a meaningful outlet, allowing them to combine their passion for movement, imagination, and emotional resilience into a story that supports children's physical and emotional development. With Hubert's Gymnastics Adventures - Fairground, they also hope to offer a gentle tool for adults to connect with their children, encouraging communication that uplifts and nurtures confidence.

Hannah Payne is a qualified gymnastics coach with a degree in Sports Science and a lifetime passion for movement. A former elite gymnast, she now runs a recreational gymnastics club and works in multiple pre schools, helping young children build confidence and physical skills from the very start of their journeys.Hannah helped develop the idea for Hubert's Gymnastics Adventures after recognising how little was available to support Early Years gymnastics in a fun, accessible way. She is passionate about keeping children active and believes movement should be joyful, engaging and part of every child's life.
