About the Author

Melody Calloway is a beautiful and bright young lady who once struggled with learning and began her school journey with an IEP. Through patience, creativity, and different learning techniques, Melody discovered her own special way to learn and now takes some advanced classes!

Born in Miami, Florida, and now living in Virginia, Melody is 12 years old (almost 13!) and has a big heart for helping others. She created her book series I Learn Differently to inspire and encourage young readers who, like her, may need to try a few different learning styles before finding what works best. Melody’s story reminds every child that learning differently is not a weakness, it’s a strength.
