About the Author

Clarissa Jacobson is a screenwriter, filmmaker, voice-over artist, and actress who is always looking for the next artistic adventure! Her award-winning comedy/horror short film, Lunch Ladies, is now on Prime Video, Kanopy, Canal+ for French territories and more. Lunch Ladies, has been in over one-hundred festivals all over the world - including prestigious Clermont-Ferrand - has won thirty-eight awards and garnered over eighty positive reviews. Clarissa also developed an extensive social media platform for the film and a website with over two hundred blogs - so head over to her Lunch Ladies website for more info! In addition, her screenplay - Stella By Starlight - has been optioned by Norman Stephens Films and Beverly Nero Productions. Her other piece, Land Of Milk And Honey, was optioned by Director, Gisberg Molero Bermúdez, and she wrote a book, "I Made A Short Film WTF Do I Do With It (a guide to film festivals, promotion, and surviving the ride)." Clarissa has a BA in theatre from Indiana University and trained at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. She is a long-standing member of Twin Bridges Writing Salon, loves a good thrift shop.
