Here, Robin concentrates on the complex personality of one of Arthurian legend's most maligned "villains." Torn between her love for her murdered father and her loyalty to her half brother, Morgain descends gradually into madness-and the sorceress of legend emerges full-blown. Morgain has long needed an apologia, and the author has provided her with a serviceable one. A good secondary purchase.
