About the Author

Keyshawn Christopher McMiller was born to parents Gerald and Vanessa McMiller on September 21st, 1996. At the early age of 12, a shy but ambitious Keyshawn defined his mission of helping others by bringing out their full potential. This internal revelation has since taken him on a journey of moving, growing, and learning across the country and overseas. Using his social work and education training, Keyshawn works diligently to teach young Black individuals about the advantages of lifelong learning and personal development while narrowing the equity gap so they may walk across the bridges of opportunity into lands of new beginnings.
