About the Author

Terry Tropin has taught at a number of community colleges in Maryland: Community College of Baltimore County; Prince George's Community College; and Montgomery College. She has taught medical terminology, ICD-10-CM/PCS and reimbursement.
In 2016, she began using the materials developed for her students to publish books: ICD-10-CM Coding Guidelines Made Easy; ICD-10-CM External Cause Coding Made Easy, and now ICD-10-PCS Coding Guidelines Made Easy. Each of these books are updated every fall.
Terry has a CCS-P, RHIA and is an AHIMA-Approved ICD-10-CM/CPS Trainer. She earned a masters degree in Healthcare Administration Informatics from the University of Maryland University College in 2014.
