About the Author

Danielle Ours is a West Virginia native, and currently resides in her home state with her daughter. As an accomplished ghostwriter and experienced editor, she is finally ready to step out of the shadows and start sharing her stories with the world.

An avid storyteller with an active imagination, Danielle began creating stories before she could even (safely) hold a pen, winning her first writing contest at 6-years-old.

Set on having a "stable" career, Danielle put her passions for writing aside and pursued an education, receiving a Master's Degree and additional postgraduate certifications. However, she was never able to shake her love of writing, and ultimately spent more than a decade finding success working as an editor and ghostwriter.

If I Were A Unicorn is the first of her original work to be published under her own name and is the first book in her "Imagination Magic" series.

Danielle is a lover of Jesus, rarely says no to chocolate, and believes it's never too late to follow your dreams.

My 1.5 yr old loved this book and has already brought it back to read again a few times!! The illustrations are very nice and colorful and kept his attention . There is a great message in this book. I can't wait to snag the next one in the series!
