About the Author

compelled to spend his childhood in Illinois because of a family dispute. After reaching the age of sixteen, he returned to Oakland, California. When he returned, he was exposed to street life and crime. When his friend was shot and murdered, John realized that he needed to leave the streets. He moved to Ohio to escape Oakland's perils. He could not maintain employment in Ohio due to his felony status. The following circumstances drove him to make a turning-point decision: to attend college.

John studied at Columbus Community College, where he graduated cum laude before transferring to Ohio State University. He also graduated cum laude there. He authored a staggering 28 books in 2023. Spurred by his love for writing stories, John embraced his new identity as an author.
