About the Author

Vicky Savage, her real name by the way, grew up gazing upon the beauty of the Wasatch Mountain Range right outside her family's kitchen window. She thought the Rocky Mountains would always own her heart until she moved to sunny Florida for law school and instantly fell in love with the ocean. Her passion for new adventures and for experiencing exotic locales led her on a circuitous path to writing science fiction/fantasy about strange new worlds and parallel universes.
Although she has lived in seven different states and London, England, the siren call of the ocean always brings her back to her beloved Florida, where she currently lives with her husband, son, and two dogs.

If I thought Streaming Stars was crazy, well... this was even crazier (in the best way possible). It was heart-breaking and thrilling and pretty much every other emotion there is. I'm still not a huge fan of the covers because, to me, they don't really fit the books, which were wonderful. Jaden is really depressed at the beginning of the book and it's quite understandable. She was completely lost and didn't know who to trust. I would definitely have felt the same way if I had been in her position. I had no idea what was going to happen during this book. It was so different from the first two. There is a completely new world built in this book. Once again, Vicky did a great job including the most vivid details of everything. I love how the characters grow and I really love some of the "new" characters. When you read it, you'll know what I mean when I say "I like this version of this person much more than the other." Very sweet; they were a completely different type of character, in my opinion. I love that. This book has you on the edge of your seat until the very end. I loved the epilogue.
