Features: The book depicts and defines more than 6,500 structures. The arrangement of the content strictly adheres to that of Nomina Anatomica Veterinaria (N.A.V.). This new edition updates the text and labels of the figures based on the sixth edition of the N.A.V. and some figures have been replaced by new ones. The author took a systemic approach to define terminologies starting with bones and ending with the integument. One of the unique features of this book is the inclusion of a section about general useful terms and special terms related to specific regions of the body.
Assessment: This is a useful resource for anatomical definitions, but the prevalence of Latin terms restricts its usage for some students.
