About the Author

Linda Lee Talbert holds a B.A. in Philosophy and an M.A. in Humanities. She earned a doctoral degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Southern California. As a professor, she taught courses in philosophy, literature, and women's studies.

Her publishing credentials include numerous scholarly articles and poems. Previously published novels include The Courtesan's Daughter, July 2007 and Pavilion of Oracles, February 2011. She teaches a course entitled The Hero's Journey: A Writer's Workshop, based on the archetypes of the renowned comparative mythologist Joseph Campbell. She offers a course based on her work of creative nonfiction, entitled The Goddess Insights. And she sponsors a lecture series called Shaping Belief: Eastern Theology.
