About the Author

A lawyer and otherwise respectable member of the community, Russell Davidson spent his teens and twenties crawling through spider-infested dungeons in search of experience points and magic potions. With his buddies at his side, armed with a pair of 20-sided dice, a sharp pencil, a character sheet, and a bag of junk food, Russell explored fantastical worlds while banishing hosts of baddies.

A fan of all things fantastical, time away from his role-playing friends was spent in front of a CRT monitor, dodging the Wizard of Frobozz while trying not to be eaten by a Grue. Russell lives in Winnipeg, Canada with his wife, his son, and a very small but fierce dog named Pepper. A second son lives off at university, where he is largely someone else's problem. Russell spends his time running, reading, writing, and getting lost in the worlds of the Oculus Rift.

A talented public speaker, and fan of the oxford comma, he often lectures at the local law society and law school. He also writes scholarly articles and guides to assist other practitioners. None of which are in the least bit interesting.
