About the Author

Stephanie Callis a lover of all things creative. She is a singer, a writer, a spiritual teacher, a motivational speaker, a military veteran, a home owner, a small business owner, a philanthropist, a wife and a mother. She is the youngest of three children born to her mother, Rebecca and the second youngest of six born to her father, Leroy. She spent her early formative years in Rochester, New York where she graduated from John Marshall High School as valedictorian, class of 97'. She entered the service at the age of 18 years old which led to her eventual arrival in Virginia. She remained a resident of Virginia upon her discharge from the service. She is a graduate of Thomas Nelson Community College and Old Dominion University.

Stephanie is a homebody who loves to decorate and craft. She is a divorced mother of four who met a divorced father of four and fell in love. She and her husband, Tyrone, combined, have eight beautiful children who continually keep her on her toes. She donates constantly to those in need and never met a stranger. She rather devote her time and energy to making lemonade rather than crying over spilled milk. Her strength is rooted in her faith and she credits Heavenly Father for His favor, His mercy and His grace, without which, she would not be alive today.

She dedicates this book to her children who have inspired her to do more than she ever thought she could. To her husband, Tyrone, who has been the best thing that ever happened to her. To her mother, who taught her what it means to be a strong woman and grounded her in the scriptures from birth. To Michelle and Alishia, who have kept secrets, made unforgettable memories and followed me into battle when needed. To Chavela for reintroducing me to my passion for writing. To Marsha and Shauna who believed in my abilities and kept asking for more when I stalled. To Courtney and Shannon who proofed and critiqued prior to publication. To all who supported and uplifted me whenever I needed it. Thank you ALL.
