In Search of Me
Is it a fantasy book? Is it a book on Christian Living? Is it a practical theology? Jim Warren, President and CEO of Dynamic Life Development, say YES to all these questions. "In Search of Me" is Jim's new book that will hold your interest, make you laugh, and in the process teach you who you are as a special creation of God. Jim likes to say it was written in a style that combines the essence of "A Pilgrim's Progress" and "The Chronicles of Narnia." Alex and Nicole find themselves mysteriously standing in an all-white room. Then they hear the "voice." It was a voice different from anything they had heard before. It sounded like a man, but it sounded like-so much more than a man. "I am the Everlasting Being, and I have chosen you." From that moment on their lives would never be the same. They enter a quest that will change and define their lives. They will face mysterious vines that hold them back from their quest. They will face daunting attacks from Minions of the Beast. Oh yes . . . there is that special guy, Master Jarren. He is a portly fellow with a bald head, trimmed white beard and a smirky smile. He has been sent by the Everlasting Being. Master Jarren will guide them through their changes as they learn the ways of the Isle of IWIGUP. Jim defines "practical theology" as a kind of "how-to" on Christian living. But don't let the word theology throw you off. It is written in an easy to read style omitting all the "theological jargon" that throws so many people off. While Jim originally wrote this book for youth and young adults between the ages of 16 - 27, he has discovered that adults are just as fascinated by the exciting learning style of a fantasy/Christian living novel. Oh and by the way-this book is filled with fantastic 3D art throughout its pages.

About the Author

Jim Warren is President & CEO of Dynamic Life Development, Inc. He is a motivational speaker, author, high-risk youth specialist and life coach.

Jim has served as a pastor, business owner, nonprofit entrepreneur, sales coach/trainer and a consultant. His first passion is to help higher risk youth find their way through life. His hope is that they will each become a disciple of Jesus. Because of this passion Jim has deve-oped another passion to help bring transformation to the Christian Faith Community. His burden is to help them move from an event/message focused model into a ministry process based on the attitude of Jesus. This has developed because of the need of all youth to have three to five committed adults in their lives. They also need this to take place within the context of a transformative community.

Jim began writing a workbook for his major youth seminar, Life Quest: The Expedition Begins. He wrote a one thousand word introduction for the seminar. It took place in a fantasy setting where Alex and Nicole find themselves standing in front of the Everlasting Being. The Everlasting Being would soon send them together on their personal Life Quests on an island called IWIGUP. Their coach was a strange man call Master Jarren.

As Jim returned to work on the workbook the story from the introduction kept playing in his head. Finally he sat down with Chapter One as a starting point and the result was "In Search of Me." In fact, he soon realized this was not the end of the story. He hopes to write at least three more books for this new series, "Life Quest: The Expedition Begins-The Fantasy Series."

When asked to describe the series Jim calls it a practical theology worked out in a fantasy setting. He likes to compare it to a combination of "A Pilgrim's Progress" and "The Chronicles of Narnia." He originally intended this series for an audience covering the ages of sixteen to twenty-seven. However Jim quickly found out this first book speaks to all ages.

Jim lives in Wheatfield Indiana with his wife Tracey. He has three adult children, eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
