This is the continuing story of Detective Earl Solano and his partner Paul Derek of the NYPD narcotics division. Together they fight against drugs and violence that go along with it. Earl Solano is an ex-secret agent from England who moved to the United States to start life anew. He was looking for a change of pace and found it in the NYPD. While working undercover he met the love of his life Emma who is an English professor at Queens College. As a consequence of Earl's cases, she had been kidnapped twice and both times, her husband and his partner were heroes intrumental in recovering her. In this fifth installment of the series, Earl faces new threats and must use all his wits to stave off the drug menace. Enemies of the US infiltrate the armed forces and it is up to Earl to save the day.
