About the Author

Jennifer Oertel is a creative genius, but only when she makes her sixth grade students do all the work for her. The sixth graders at Contra Costa Christian Schools compiled a list of somewhat twisted and slightly incorrect ideas throughout the first semester of Miss Oertel's history class. Now, they've turned all their ideas into educational prose and beautiful illustrations.
This is Jennifer's fifth time being published as an illustrator and her first as an author. This marks the publishing debut for every sixth grader.
