Overview

This book focuses on the measurement and utilisation of quantitative indicators in the urban and regional planning fields. There has been a resurgence of academic and policy interest in using indicators to inform planning, partly in response to the current government's information intensive approach to decision-making. About the Author

Cecilia Wong is Professor of Spatial Planning at the School of Environment and Development, University of Manchester and a chartered town planner. Her research interests include quantitative measures, socio-economic analysis, strategic and spatial planning and policy monitoring and evaluation.
