Vicki skillfully teaches the use of guided imagery, meditation, breathing tools and mindfulness. As well as the practical exercises, the author also shares the scientific evidence about the how and why these methods work. Reading Vicki's book is like having a best friend sitting next to you and walking you through each step of the way. One of my favorite breathing techniques was the one used by Navy SEALS. I also enjoyed the different meditations for inner peace and heart coherence.
