Dr. Debasis Giri is at present Associate Professor in the Department of Information Technology of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (Formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology), West Bengal, India prior to Professor (in Computer Science and Engineering) and Dean (in School of Electronics, Computer Science and Informatics) of Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia, India. He did his masters (MTech and MSc) both from IIT Kharagpur, India, and also completed his PhD from IIT Kharagpur, India . He is tenth all India rank holder in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering in 1999. He has published more than 100 papers in international journal/ conference. His current research interests include Cryptography, Information Security, Blockchain Technology, E-commerce security and Design & Analysis of Algorithms. He is Editorial Board Member and Reviewer of many International Journals. He is also Program Committee Member of International Conferences. He is a founder of International Conference on Mathematics and Computing. He is a life member of Cryptology Research Society of India, Computer Society of India , the International Society for Analysis, its Applications and Computation (ISAAC) and IEEE annual member.
Professor Anthony T.S. Ho joined the University of Surrey in 2006 and served as Head of Department of Computer Science from 2010 to 2015. He was the recipient of the prestigious Institution of Engineering and Technology Innovation in Engineering Award under the Security category for his research and commercialization work on digital watermarking in 2006. He obtained his BSc (Hons) in Physical Electronics from Northumbria University in 1979, his MSc in Applied Optics from Imperial College London in 1980 and his PhD in Digital Image Processing from King's College London, University of London in 1983. From 1994 to 2005, he was an Associate Professor at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has published more than 190 articles in international journals and conference proceedings and 8 international patents granted related to watermarking and steganography. Professor Ho is Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Information Security and Applications and Area Editor for Signal Processing: Image Communication, both published by Elsevier as well as Associate Editor for EURASIP Journal of Image and Video Processing published by Springer. He is a Fellow of Institution of Engineering and Technology, Fellow of Institute of Physics, and Fellow of British Computer Society.
Dr. Hideki Ochiai received the B.E. degree in communication engineering from Osaka University, Osaka, Japan, in 1996, and the M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in information and communication engineering from The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, in 1998 and 2001, respectively. From 1994 to 1995, he was with the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), Los Angeles, CA, USA, under the scholarship of the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture. From 2001 to 2003, he was a Research Associate with The University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo. From 2003 to 2024, he was with Yokohama National University, Yokohama, Japan, where he was a Professor since 2015. In April 2024, he joined Osaka University as a Professor. From 2003 to 2004, he was a Visiting Scientist with Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA. From 2019 to 2020, he was a Visiting Professor with the University of Waterloo, ON, Canada, and a Visiting Fellow with Princeton University, Princeton, NJ, USA. His research interest includes wireless communications and networks. He served as an Editor for IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, from 2007 to 2011, and IEEE Wireless Communications Letters, from 2011 to 2016. Dr. Ochiai is a Fellow of the IEEE.
Prof. Mrinal Mandal received his M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa, Canada. Since 1999 he has been a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and is the Director of the Digital Image Analysis Laboratory, University of Alberta, Canada. His research interests include Digital Image Processing, Medical and Document Image Analysis, Computer-aided Diagnosis, Intelligent systems, Deep Learning, and Hardware Architectures. He has published more than 220 papers in refereed journals and conferences and has a U.S. patent on wavelet transform architecture. He has been the Principal Investigator of projects funded by several Canadian Networks of Centers of Excellence such as CITR, MICRONET, and is currently the Principal Investigator of projects funded by the NSERC and MITACS. He is currently serving as Associate Editor of the International Journal of Imaging Systems and Technology and Journal of Imaging. He has authored the books Multimedia Signals and Systems (Kluwer) and Continuous and Discrete Time Signals and Systems (Cambridge University Press). He is a senior member of IEEE and a member of the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board. He is a past recipient of the Canadian Commonwealth Fellowship and Humboldt Research Fellowship (Germany).
Dr. Koushik Sinha is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Computing at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. He leads the Complex Networks and Applications research group at SIU, Carbondale. He is the co-author of the book Wireless Networks and Mobile Computing published by CRC Press, Taylor and Francis Group, USA in 2015. Prior to joining SIU, he was with the Social Computing Group of Qatar Computing Research Institute, Qatar from 2013 to 2015. Previously, he was a Research Scientist at Hewlett-Packard Labs. He also spent 7 years with Honeywell as a Lead Research Scientist. He received the Young Scientist Award from the Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA) in 2009 and the N. V. Gadadhar Memorial Award from the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) in 2011. He was the IEEE ANTS (the only conference in India which is financially sponsored by IEEE Communications Society) TPC Co-chair in 2016 and 2017. He is also the General Co-Chair for IEEE ANTS 2018. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE. His current research focus is in the areas of 5G and Beyond 5G Networks, Challenged Networks, Wireless Sensor Networks, IoT and Edge Computing.
