Into the Decay
For as long as Daina and the people of Tantallos can remember they have known nothing but inside the thick walls of their city, crumbling and fading around them. But outside lay far worse horrors, for there nothing exists but the Decay. It is an endless expanse of fetid pools and dead forests where no human can survive. It is a corrupting landscape filled with mire beasts, demons and other creatures only thought of in nightmares, so tainted that even entering the mire is certain death. But then a group of strangers appear at the gates of Tantallos, unharmed after traveling through the Decay. Amongst them is Alkin from Tulroy, a city far from sight across the wasteland. Now life for all of them is about to take a sudden turn, one filled with danger, terror and an unlikely friendship between Daina and the vicious demon Aleksei that will change the fates of not just themselves but all beings within their world.
