Audience: The audience includes students in the field of health science librarianship as well as working library professionals.
Features: The book concisely provides direction and advice for some of the most important reference resources that are available today. It includes a broad cross section of a variety of health sciences information. A health sciences professional with a limited budget should be able to build a core reference collection consisting of monographs, journals, and databases by referring to this book. It is of value to beginning professionals as well as librarians who have experience in the field. It is a book that should be referred to in order to insure a sound purchase of reference sources.
