The purpose of the report is to introduce diffusion phenomena formulations and solution techniques in many cases. Laplace and Fourier Transform methods, along with traveling wave frames and some ordinary differential equations and systems with matrix analysis are utilized in the solving. Popular fractional calculus problems are included, as well as, a chain rule presentation is given. Calculated examples illustrate the results. Theoretical diffusion continuum foundations and bridges to nonlinear kinetics are provided.
