Gus has a hand tremor, creating the unique characteristic lines in the illustrations. Gus has found that the use of a ruler is helpful to stop pencil lines from going out of the lines. A handy eraser is used frequently. If you look carefully, you may see where the author has colored outside the lines.

Cindy, an illustrator, works 40 hours a week from home and sketches during her limited free time. In contrast, Gus, who has been retired for some time, writes books as a hobby.
