About the Author

Kais Mustafa is a Sacramento Native who came up with the idea of Ishmail after hearing his son mispronounce snails as "ishmails." Inspiration struck and the idea of Ishmail the Snail quickly took shape. Kais is an IT genius and spends his free time in his wood shop, creating toys for his children, or brewing ciders to enjoy with his wife.
