Island of the Dead: The Return of the Vampire Trilogy Book II
Will Eve survive the school's unrelenting horrors, or will she become its next victim?

The terrifying sequel to the chilling teen/young adult horror novel Eve of the Damned.

Eve Evans barely escaped her first year at De Omori School of Research and Retention, where bloodfiends roamed the shadows and her teachers concealed dark and deadly secrets. But the horrors of the island followed her home. An attack during the school holidays leaves Eve scarred, hunted, and homeless, with a haunting realization: the nightmare may not be behind her. De Omori, with its feral bloodfiends and lurking dangers, might be the only place where she can survive.

Year two plunges Eve into deeper darkness. Someone within the school is trying to kill her, and the killer hides among the very people she's supposed to trust. As she struggles to master her growing powers, she's drawn into a deadly game of cat and mouse. The headteacher orders her to uncover the traitor, but the more she digs, the closer she comes to truths that could shatter her mind - and her life.

About the Author

David was born twelve miles north of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in a small Northumberland town in the UK, and although he enjoys regular forays to the real world, he has lived in the general area ever since. He studied IT and creative writing at university (Not at the same time!) and he says there's no competition to which one he enjoys the most.

He can be found with his nose in any books he can get his hands on, but of course has a particular affinity with horror novels. Strange fact - whilst he enjoys horror movies, he will freely admit that he can't stand slasher/torture films (with one or two exceptions).

Writing for both the adult and young adult audience, David is quickly establishing himself as a writer to keep tabs on.
