Istanbul's Secret Warriors
It was the time when we Americans were surrounded by an outbreak of Arab nationalism. The British were being driven out of their former bases in colonial territories in the Middle East. Friendly rulers were being dethroned and replaced with popular leaders. The people's voices could no longer be ignored; they were taking back their countries and American interests be damned!

Never before had the Middle East been so dangerous for foreign agents. Super spy Adam Chelabi runs the whole Middle East section of the CIA from his station in Istanbul, Turkey. He is expected to know everything that is going on, and to redirect outcomes to the American advantage.

Adam used to work for the CIA Investigative branch in Paris but he suddenly found himself administering the whole CIA program for the Middle East. He is the disgruntled boss of other agents scattered throughout the region.

Although he was born in Turkey he grew up in the US. He is a former police detective, chosen for special training by the FBI and the CIA. In a previous volume of this series (Istanbul's Silent Witness) he takes you through the dark, tangled streets of Istanbul and, well-lit venues of cabarets that attract tourists.

Once again he teams up with Detective Abdullah of the International Istanbul Police. Join two of Istanbul's Secret Warriors as their adventures take them throughout the mysterious Middle East

About the Author

The author is Professor Emeritus in the Florida University System. A Clinical Psychologist by training and a Cultural Anthropologist by interest. He writes under a facetious pseudonym because he wants to keep his personal life separate from his professional one. Finally, after twenty-five years retirement, he elected to write some novels sharing his varied experiences as background.

Nine titles are available from Kindle, Amazon Books, and booksellers around the world. He declares that this will be his last novel, "It's time to really retire!" After much pleading he finally agreed to write one last novel, "Jonathan Padraig Slow, Exposed."

He has lived in Baghdad and in Cairo and has made more than 70 trips to Latin America and 15 to Turkey. He is married to a wife from Baghdad and made the pilgrimage to Mecca. His wonderful children still hang out near the nest and encourage him.
