Pete Thompson was a fine young geologist doing all his work very meticulously; his current problem was that he knew very little about dealing with women. Ever since that day a couple of weeks ago when he first met Sue Delaney at the drive-in restaurant, his life had not been the same. It finally dawned on Pete what the problem was. It had simply been "love at first sight".
Pete and his small staff soon found that their workload was doubling over a couple of weeks or so as the total number of producing wells increased. He just found out that another rig was being brought in to get the production on line and going to the refinery faster. He was going to need another geologist and perhaps a landman. It was like pulling teeth getting more people, another battle.
