Larry Larkin is a columnist for the Claremore Progress newspaper and a nationally published writer on historical and nostalgic topics. He serves as vice president of the Friends of J.M. Davis Arms and Historical Museum. Wayne McCombs, executive director of the J.M. Davis Arms and Historical Museum, has authored or contributed to five books on Oklahoma baseball history. John Wooley, whose 27 books include Shot in Oklahoma and Wes Craven: The Man and His Nightmares, is a two-time finalist for the Oklahoma Book Award.
