About the Author

LORI HASKINS HOURAN is a former children's book editor at Random House and Golden Books. She's the author of many Little Golden Books, including Let's Go Trick-or-Treating!, Let's Go to the Beach!, Let's Go Apple Picking!, and The Tale of Paul Bunyan, as well as numerous leveled reading titles, including Too Many Dogs and The $25,000 Flight.

MARGEAUX LUCAS began drawing constantly from age four. Her love of picture books came from the many hours she spent before bedtime reading from the collection at her grandmother's house. Margeaux's work reflects her love of fashion, nature, and the many shapes, sizes, and colors that people come in, plus the constant exuberance of children. She also illustrated My Little Golden Book About Betty White and My Little Golden Book About Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
