Overview

"CHOO-KA CHOO_KA TING! ¡Ay, caramba!” In this Foreword Reviews Book of the Year GOLD AWARD WINNER, Gollub welcomes young readers to Spanish language and Latin jazz. He introduces zippy Spanish phrases to thoroughly entertain children of all backgrounds. The first Spanish word is "pachanga" or dance party. The book comes with 3 listening options: a QR code, audio CD and FREE AUDIO DOWNLOAD. Gollub's MUST HEAR rhythmic narration features sax, piano, bass and drums like in the original Jazz Fly, plus congas, bongos, timbales and more played by master Latin percussionist John Santos. Follow Karen Hanke's witty illustrations deep into the rain forest, chant along in Spanish and jazz scat—but watch out for the dangers that lurk around the termite nest. Like the Fly, and the author himself, you'll be glad you learned to speak a second language! Other awards for this multi-media package include International Book Awards Winner, Parents' Choice Award, and the Moonbeam Children's Book GOLD MEDAL. Ideal for ages 5-9, loved by children, parents and teachers alike!
