This book includes several cute and clever ideas for embellishing jeans, but actually implementing the ideas is a little more difficult than the author implies. It's not easy to stitch (or tack) the length of a pantleg or across the backside of a pair of jeans and keep everything lined up properly. (And how do you stitch across the pant and the pocket and still have a functioning pocket?) Some of the ideas for the pantleg hem or the front pocket may be a little easier to actually do, but most would take someone with a greater amount of experience than I. If you like a challenge, this book is for you. At the bargain price, it may be worth buying just to fuel your creative juices, and you can come up with more implementable ideas of your own.
