Most Helpful Customer Reviews
Much wonderful writing about the sea, the Far East and such, very reminiscent of the works of Somerset Maugham or Patrick O'Brian. As I was reading these most enjoyable stories, I though what a pity it is that so many people know of Conrad only as the author of Heart of Darkness. It appears that I am working my way to reading his complete works and finding all of them to my liking.
