From the author: Just Because is a poetry collection of mixed values and emotions. I thought long and hard on a title that speaks about the contents in few words. What interest me is likely to interest someone else. Many poems from this collection are very personal to me. And I know others will find them just as personal to them.

Hi! I am Diana Pierce.
My interest range across a wide variety of things. I live in the country and enjoy nature.
Bird watching has become a favorite hobby.
I like to do arts and crafts.
I love to watch the classic westerns. I am blessed to have met some of the stars and I have collected many of their autograph pictures.
I am crazy about Elvis and Graceland holds a special place in my heart.
I love to write poetry and short stories. My background in agriculture and country living will influence much of what I write, but my interests span far beyond that.
I have studied with the Institute of Children’s Literature in Redding, Conn. and with Penn Foster Career school in Scranton, Pa.
I want to write something special that touches the heart of my audience.
I love family. I am blessed with being a grandma and a great grandma. I love dogs and share my country hillside home with my special canine friend, Dolly and her feline pal, Mr. Goofy. Pets are family, too.
