About the Author

L.Duncan Hartgraves was born in Monroe, Wisconsin, and attended elementary, middle school, and high school in Beloit, Wisconsin. She began her college career at UW-LaCrosse, before transferring to Rockford College, where she received her Bachelor’s and Masters’ Degrees. Lana is an enthusiastic energetic elementary art teacher with additional certification at the secondary level in Art, Social Sciences, and French. She and her husband, Dan are the parents of three daughters, and they reside on a farm in Wisconsin, just north of the Illinois border.
