About the Author

Dr. Ri'Chari Sancho is an American born, educator, progenitor of multicultural and diversity inclusion concepts/curriculum, and a social justice advocate for human rights. Serving as the Director of Operations for Sancho Education Group, Dr. Sancho uses her background to assist global leaders interested in building sustainable practices of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belongingness. Prior experiences and the first exploratory research study she conducted, "Stakeholder Experiences and Operations in Implementing an Elementary Civil Leadership Program", led her to the development of the training construct "K12 Civil Leadership" (K12CVL) in which Sancho concluded that greater harmonious interactions between dissimilar student groups can take place when schools employ culturally relevant pedagogy (CRP) with active collaboration between community organization leaders, education leaders, and parents.
