Kash knows he'll never be allowed to claim a mate. A lifetime of military service has left him too battle-scarred and broken to be considered for the off-world mating project his rulers have created to save their people.

His job is to make sure the more fortunate males get to Earth to retrieve their mates. All he has to do is pilot the ship, stay undetected, and keep an eye on things from orbit. It should be the easiest mission of his career...until he lays eyes on the one thing he never expected to find. His mate.

This book contains a hopeful romantic who is giving up hope, and a soldier who is about to discover that love doesn't obey orders, and it can't be bound by rules.

This was a fast read, but it was my favorite of the trilogy. I found the heroine to be fairly relatable. The point of contention resolves a little quickly, but, what-the-hey, this is fiction.

Kash is my favorite out of this series to date. Kash is a big scarred bruiser of a guy who has been put in the position of bringing two guys to Earth to pick up their mates. He’d love a mate but feels nobody would want a hulk like him. Gwen is feeling old, fat and really down. She’s lost her job, The dating service she and her friends signed up for says she is too old for them. When her BFF’s don’t check in from their dates she starts to freak until Kash shows up at her door. Then she has other issues to worry about. I really liked Kash and Gwen. Kash is torn between duty and love and Gwen may destroy her future because of her past. This is a sweet and sexy romp.

I was given an Advanced Review Copy, by the author, in return for a honest review. This is the third book in the Star-Crossed Alien Mail Order Brides series. I had been waiting for this book and this Sci-fi romance did not disappoint. Great story. I felt for the characters, which were relatable. The plot was again entertaining. I really hope there is a follow up or spin-off with these characters. Just enjoyable. If you haven't read this story, or started the series, I highly recommend starting. This was a re-read for me! - Sarah

Kash, is book three in Ms. Hayes” Star-Crossed Alien Mail order Brides trilogy. It is a hot and sexy Si-Fi romance novella with an interesting storyline that is a wonderful read. Kash is commanding the starship that will bring the two brides and their mates together. He is not part of the program or looking for his true mate. The plot was unique and intriguing and I love the sparks and “scorching” chemistry that develops between Kash a military man used to following orders and giving orders without question and Gwen Hudson a rejected program member with low self esteem. The story is fast paced and held my interest from the beginning. I love how Ms. Hayes develops her characters and always tells a good story that includes a hot steaming romance and a great epilogue. The story is an awesome read that I truly enjoyed. I highly recommend it. I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book from the author in exchange for my review. It was a pleasure to give my honest opinion about the novella.
