Overview

Once again private detective, Ray Jansen and his secretary, Lexi Taylor are involved in a mystery. This one begins when Ray is involved in an auto accident and the man who hit his car asks him to find his missing brother. No sooner does Ray begin his search when dead bodies begin turning up every Wednesday. Now Ray and his police detective friend, Jim Donner, are searching for a serial killer. To solve this mystery Ray travels to Toledo, Ohio to get help from the missing man's wife, and then back to Los Angeles where he gets help from a homeless artist, a priest, and, of course, Lexi.

About the Author

Sue grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has lived in Denver, Colorado; Del Rio, Texas;and Memmingen, Germany.She now lives in Perrysburg, Ohio with her husband. They are so content with their home that they have named it Paradise, and have even put up a sign with that name on it.
Sue and her husband have three children. Their oldest son, a gifted artist died at the age of 38. Their other son has blessed them with 3 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren. Their youngest child, a daughter, has special needs and lives in a group home near them.
Sue and her husband once owned their own tool manufacturing company. Sue has worked as an advocate for parents of special needs children and as a fund raiser. She retired from elementary teaching.
In her spare time Sue enjoys reading, crochetting, knitting, sewing, swimming, golf, gardening, painting, and visiting her grandchildren.
Sue remembers a time when she had to write a paper for one of her high school classes. She had to use a manual typewriter and she was so frustrated with the project that she asked her mother to finish it for her. She remembers saying, "I hate writing" She thinks it's ironic that now she feels frustrated if she can't write everyday.
