About the Author

I have spent over 30 years in the electrical engineering and I.T. Technical management field, travelling extensively throughout the Scandinavian countries and the Americas. I live on the Wirral peninsular which is richly steeped in Viking and Roman history, and have family in Sicily, which is a goldmine of ancient architecture and culture, from Saracens and Moors to the Ottoman and Roman empires.
I think this is where my love of these periods originates from.
