Purpose: It is intended as a concise resource for determining the causes of abortion and neonatal loss among mammals.

Features: This book covers disorders of reproductive failure in nearly all species, including dogs and cats. It features a complete review of abortifacient agents that affect animals. A new section on nondomesticated animals will be very helpful to many readers. Two appendixes that provide reference charts for gestational age estimates and available diagnostic tests add value to the book.
