About the Author

Albert Halstead is founder and director of Leonine Productions in waverly, NY which has been in business since 1974. He graduated from Clarkson College of Technology in 1968 and Ithaca College in 1997 with a B.Sci. in Film Production and has worked professionally in film production since 1997 in Los Angeles and the Northeastern U.S.. Halstead has written, directed, and produced three experimental films, a documentary, a dance film, a comedy, and six short dramas. the most recent of these include My Cocktail with Hollis, My Brother's Keeper, Gothic Nightmare which received several awards at independent film festivals. he has also lectured extensively on film style, science fiction films, and Stanley Kubrick's work in 2001: A Space Odyssey.
