About the Author

Jane McCoy currently lives in Asheville, NC with her husband, Jim. They have two children, Kelsey and Keelan, and four grandchildren: Grant, Lyla, Greer, and Delaney.

Snooks the raccoon, who is the main character in Kudzu Korners, was an actual pet of Jim’s when he was a little boy. The idea of a fictional character named Snooks is something Jane and Jim have been thinking and talking about for years.
