About the Author

Claudia has been writing since childhood, penning a variety of short stories and poems, as well as maintaining journals throughout her life. Claudia shared her work with the world with the digital release of her first e-book Dorothy Jones, A Jazz Age Trip Through Oz in 2013 and then trade paperback in June, 2016. Claudia's primary work has been her fantasy series La Rose Le Baton Chronicles, set in New Orleans, Louisiana and Paris, France.

A transplanted Chicagoan, Claudia now resides in Southern California were she wages the daily internal debate of 'why is it always 70 degrees here?' Claudia is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign with a Bachelors of Arts in English. She enjoys ocean sunsets, wine tastings, oil painting, and learning how to surf. Most of all, Claudia enjoys chatting with her niece, Jordan, on the telephone and via Facebook.
