Overview

Delightful illustrations and catchy songs combine to give young minds a reminder on the significance of taking care of the environment   This musical journey tells the story of the Jequitiba, a giant and ancient tree in the heart of Brazil whose life has become seriously threatened. With a little help from a singing superstar rooster and his friends—three chickens, a horse and a little boy—we discover that miracles really do happen. With exquisite illustrations and 17 original songs written by Hélio Ziskind and sung by Bïa, Monica Freire, and Georges Moustaki, amongst others, this book provides children with an important message about conservation.
