‘Legacy, a Guide to Successfully Transferring Wealth from one Generation to the Next’ is so much more than just a ‘guide’. This book, written by Leslie Quinsay is really the only resource one needs to successfully plan for a future full of ‘what ifs’. This is a well written and enjoyable read that is both anecdotal, practical as well as eye-opening. As someone who recently acquired a business of my own, I was feeling lost in the endless sea of things to do. The one thing that I kept putting off was planning… planning for my daughter for the day I won’t be there, planning for what will happen to the business that I worked so hard to acquire. In all honesty, this was something that nagged at me and continues to nag at me. I kept thinking to myself that there will be time to address this later, there are more important things to deal with now. Truth be told…after reading Legacy I came to realize that the urge to push this planning aside stemmed simply from not knowing where to begin. Leslie Quinsay effectively takes that fear away in a practical manner and arms you with the tools and resources to successfully plan for the future. No one likes to think about their own demise but rather than having that uneasy feeling of not knowing how your loved ones will fare after your passing I recommend reading Legacy and putting the futures of your family at the forefront. Thank you, Leslie Quinsay for making the process so much less daunting!
