Christine Feehan takes us once again into the world of danger, intrigue, and the very passionate and unique Leopard World with Leopard's Run. She brings together a beautiful, independent and on the run woman looking to get revenge on the men who killed her parents. He's the brother and head of security for a man who's businesses bring danger and enemies from several different places. He's a man who will kill anyone who threatens his family and loved ones. She's an unknown addition to the whole situation. Will they defeat their enemies and fall in love and protect each other and the family along the way? Ashe has looked up her old friend and her criminal of a husband for help and a job. The problem is it puts her into more danger than she bargains for. Her friends head of security isn't just that he's the friend's brother-in-law. They meet when Timur is making sure the bakery is secure for his brother. He knows immediately that she is the one for him. Timur isn't very happy that she was hired before he had a chance to look into Ashe. When he learns she's in trouble and someone is trying to kill her. He immediately puts her under his protection even though she doesn't want it. Timur is impressed with how Ashe handles herself. When he realizes that they aren't safe in the house they're staying in he takes them to the brother's mansion. They move into the the guest house and work together to figure out who is after her and how its connected to his family. He reveals his past to her put she keeping things from him. As Timur becomes my connected to Ashe it helps to calm him and give him peace in his work. When an attack is made against the two of them, they must work together to figure out why. A connection is made to a relative's family. An attack is made on the bakery and its up to Ashe to save them. Declarations of made by them both with a plan for a wedding and the future once a family member is well. A thrill ride of suspense, passion and intrigue is always a a lot of fun. Christine Feehan is a master at bringing the characters alive and believable. They may seem like bad guys but these men/shifters have a heart of gold for the woman they love. A Feehan book is always a great read. Please keep the stories coming Ms. Feehan. I'll be waiting, buying and reading everyone.

Didn't know where she was going to with Timur's story but was glad to finally read his. Revealed his dark side but let us see his insecurities too. Plot was explosive, with updated info about the other syndicates in other parts of the country . She touched a bit on the different lairs nntypes of cats. All in all, it was a thrilling read,

Review: LEOPARD’S RUN (A Leopard Novel) by Christine Feehan Publication Date: November 6, 2018 Genre: Paranormal Romance Reviewed by: Reading in Pajamas/ Donna Rated: 4.5 Stars This book is an intense addition to the Leopard Series. Timur is a dark and violent man, but Feehan managed to let us peek at the tenderness deep inside, which made him all the sexier. I loved Ashe. Strong, smart and capable of taking care of herself – especially standing up for her rights in the relationship. The final fight scene was one of my favorites and I wish I could say why without giving too much away. I enjoyed how their relationship grew. It went beyond the simple "mate attraction" and let their human half fall in love. I’m a fan of Christine Feehan because each series has their own distinct tone. This series shows us the violent and dangerous world of these Leopards, blended with their intense erotic love lives. The beginning seemed to drag for me, but it sure made up for it, and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. Overall it was a sexy and pulse-pumping ride of a story. *Review copy provided by Penguin in exchange for an honest review. ~*~*~*~

My review of LEOPARD'S RUN I love these Russian Leopards! Timur, and Ashe complement each other in every aspect of their dangerous lives. Very sexy read. Timur's driving need to protect his family, and Ashe's deception cause a few problems in the beginning, but I love how Temnyy, and Godiva assist their human-counterparts in getting past their mutual distrust quickly. The life of a bodyguard/enforcer isn't easy, but Ashe understands Timur, supports him, and even adds her own protection to the family. They're both such bad asses! Trouble continues to follow Fyodor's lair, and all involved. I always enjoy the unexpected plot twists, betrayals from so many directions, and it really held my attention. I can't wait to find out how Drake, and Joshua handle some additional cleaning of their lairs. We get updates on several familiar characters in the Leopards series, and their babies. Wonderful read, and I adore those Amurov men.

Timur only saving grace from the abuse he survived at the hands of his father and his father’s family was he escaped with his brothers and now he leads the protection for his brother and his brother’s mate…until he meetsAshe. Ashe is on the run only to find herself smack dab in the middle of an even larger shifter mess. Not knowing that she is going through the change, Ashe sets off all kinds of mating instincts in a highly volatile group of shifter leopards with Timur reluctantly leading the charge. I enjoyed the chemistry between Timur and Ashe. Feehan found just the right balance between over-protective, alpha maleness and a strong female who knows just how to push his buttons and ignite the story into overdrive. I received this ARC copy of Leopard's Run from Berkley Publishing Group. This is my honest and voluntary review.

I’m sorry I cannot give a better score. I have read everything Christine has ever written !! She used to be my #1 author! It is hard to read the new books she is writing . It repeats history of characters over and over. It felt like 100 pages of story the rest is sex and repeated stuff. I literally scanned the pages to get through a lot of the book.

Ashe Bronte has come to her friend Evangeline for help. No one knows anything about her and it’s driving Timur Amurov nuts. Timur has always been bodyguard for his older brother, Fyodor but that job has become a bit more difficult since Fyodor now runs the Arnotto Territory. Not only is Timur suspicious of Ashe’s reasons for coming to San Antonio but he is also fighting his attraction to her. Death threats, plots against different members of the family all have to be dealt with as Timur and Ashe learn about each other and Ashe learns about being leopard and they both learn to be a leopard couple. Twists and turns abound and the current threats are dealt with but not completely wiped out. Leopard’s Run is one of those books that will grab you and turn you upside down. Quite a bit of Amurov history is revealed but there is plenty more to be discovered and taken care of. I can’t wait to see where Christine Feehan takes us in the coming books.

Protecting his family is Timur’s one purpose in life until he has to determine is Ashe in the enemy even though she calms the beast roaring inside him. Ashe Bronte can’t make any mistakes, but Timur has ignited something deep within her. This pulse pounding and explosive shifter romance is wicked and wild with strong, bold characters that demand readers’ attention and refuse to let go. The romance between Timur and Ashe is hot and spicy as her inner leopard awakens but the relationship has a few obstacles to be overcome, some of which are emotional which brings these characters to life as it gives depth that readers can easily connect to and some of which are outside influences that cause lots of chaos and strife. Readers can’t help but fall for any of the Leopard shifters in this series as they are dark, alpha men with hidden depths that tugs at heartstrings and Timur certainly fits that description with a capital T while Ashe is a feisty and daring feline that has lots of appeal. The Amurov brothers’ enemies are closing in from all directions and if they don’t discover just who they all are they just might lose not only everything they’ve worked for but those they hold dear and Readers won’t want to miss a thing during this fast paced and smooth flowing plot that is full of explosive action and thrilling suspense. The story is further enhanced as betrayals are revealed and surprising twists keeps the characters on their toes. Once again, this fascinating and pulse pounding series entertains readers and ensures that they want to re-read these books often.

I love the interaction between Timur and Ashe. They burn up the pages with scorching passion and intense passion. 4.25 stars--LEOPARD’S RUN is the eleventh instalment in Christine Feehan’s contemporary, adult LEOPARD PEOPLE erotic, paranormal, romance series focusing on the supernatural world of the leopard shifter. This is leopard enforcer Timur Amurov, and barista Ashe Bronte Mostafa’s story line. LEOPARD’S RUN can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary although Leopard’s Run continues to follow the author’s latest series arc focusing on the Russian Mob. NOTE: LEOPARD’S RUN contains scenes of graphic violence and implied abuse, that may not be suitable for all readers. Told from dual third person perspectives (Timur and Ashe) LEOPARD’S RUN follows the building relationship between leopard enforcer Timur Amurov, and barista Ashe Bronte Mostafa. Timur was not impressed that his brother Fyodor’s mate and wife Evangeline hired an unknown female leopard to help out in her bakery and café. Not one to believe in coincidences Timur attempts to ferret out the stranger’s secrets only to discover the stranger is the other half of his leopard’s soul. Enter Ashe Bronte Mostafa, and the woman with whom Timur will fall in love. What ensues is the building relationship between Timur and Ashe, and the potential fall-out as Ashe and the Amurov family are targeted in a takeover attempt of power and control. Ashe Bronte is about to enter the Han Vol Dan-the leopard female equivalent of going into heat-but her pheromones attract all kinds of trouble including the unwanted attention of every shifter male. Already the target of a vengeful man Ashe needs the help of the local Russian mobster but believes her presence is a threat to Evangeline and the Amurov family. Timur knows the pain and suffering of torture and abuse, and in this, he believes he is unworthy of a mate but Ashe’s presence is the only thing that calms his raging beast, a beast that is willing to kill to protect his family and mate. The relationship between Ashe and Timur is one of immediate attraction but Ashe is on the run, desperate to contact Fyodor, in the hopes of procuring his criminal experience. Timur’s leopard knows that Ashe is their mate but struggles with the knowledge that his abusive past is but a grain of sand in a long line of sins and violence. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text. There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Evangeline and Fyodor Amurov (Leopard’s Blood #8), cousins Gorya and Mitya; Jake Bannaconni, Eli Perez, Elijah Lospostos, Jeremiah Wheating, and Drake Donovan. We are introduced to Evangeline’s brothers Christophe and Ambroise Tregre, their father Beau, and Uncle Gilbert. The requisite evil has many faces. The world building continues to look at the brutal and sexually aggressive world of the leopard shifter. From abusive males to power and control, the leopards are a people who fear their own kind when past experiences have shaped the violent tendencies through cruelty, threats, anger and pain. LEOPARD’S RUN is a story of family and betrayal; power and control; violence, killing and brutality. Christine Feehan pulls the reader into the volatile and explosive world of the leopard. The premise is raw and gritty; the romance is spirited and provocative; the characters are flawed, colorful and energetic. LEOPARD’S RUN is intoxicating and imaginative

Once again, Christine Feehan has created a great read with this addition to the Leopard Series. Leopard 's Run is the story of Timur Amurov and Ashe Bronte. "If you have been brutally broken but still have the courage to be gentle to others then you deserve a love deeper than the ocean itself." (Nikita Gill) is a quote that brings this story to light for me. Timur feels he is terribly broken, abused his whole life to become the monster his father wanted him to be. He believes that there is no happiness to be found for him so he will use the monster within to protect those he calls family, so they can be happy. No matter how much it weighs on him and his conscience. Ashe comes into his life looking for some way to get revenge on those who killed her parents. Ironically, she brings those he and his family left behind, family who wants to see them destroyed. The Uncles Timur has sworn to sacrifice everything to protect those he loves from. She is a woman raised to be independent and trained to defend herself in order to survive as well as, she finds out, to defend herself from her parents' past. This couple is a perfect balance of opposites and similarities. As their relationship grows, they learn to trust each other, to reveal the secrets they keep. Both learn they can be honest and open with each other, that no thought need to be censored or words carefully chosen. Ashe finds she feels safe with him...that he will be himself with her, the mask he wears can be dropped, that with her and any children he can be loving. He gives her ways to keep her independence and Timur finds he can have happiness with someone strong enough not only to hear the strain his role in the family places on him but is strong enough to help him, fight with and for him, to make his world lighter, a place with laughter and warmth. She accepts the choice he's made to walk the fine line of criminal and defender of the innocent. To end the terror The Bratya cause with drugs, guns and human trafficking. A calling he can't walk away from. She helps him see he is not what happened to him, not who his father wanted him to be but who he chooses to be. As their bond strengthens so does their bond with family. It's wonderful to see how as love enters their lives they realize, acknowledge, a camaraderie, love, with family. They find that allies are friends and those to look to as examples of life after their abusive past. They work together and with allies to stay ahead of the trouble that followed her and found them. Doing so they discover other enemies around them. Christine does an amazing job keeping you wondering, making a long list of suspects with familiar names, some pulling at your heart hoping they are wrong. Your heart going out to Timur as he works to weed out who must be stopped. Happy to see Ashe will stay by his side and understands what he goes through, not to mention she is a badass when it comes to defending herself and those she has come to care about. With some enemies defeated, some being hunted in other territories, and the wheels in motion to draw out The Uncles, preparing to face them instead of looking over their shoulder, Timur, Ashe, and their family are able to breathe for the moment. And the reader gets to absorb another happily ever after by Christine Feehan with her masterful balance of emotion, action, humor, passion, and the anticipation of what's next.

Ashe and Timur’s book was filled with action and sex but it felt like a clone of Fyodor’s book. So I bought and read it because I like to keep the series going, but like I said it was slow and repetitive
