About the Author

Author Richard Kollen has taught history in Lexington's schools since 1974 and is also a lecturer at Boston's Northeastern University. A professional historian with articles published in various journals, he has received numerous teaching awards along with the Massachusetts Historical Society's Adams Fellowship and also serves as archivist for the Lexington Historical Society.
