Awesome story. My 6 year old LOVED this book. The repeating text is awesome for her to practice reading. She loved the story and commented that all of the animals live near us (in New England). The author included pages at the end about day and nocturnal animals. My daughter loved looked for and commenting on the animals as well. Her review, "this is a great book. My favorite part is the bear with the honey. She is so cute!! I liked reading this". She then wrote her name on the "this book belongs to" page! :)
