About the Author

Dr Holbrook is a board certified general surgeon and fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He completed medical school at Northwestern University Medical School and did extensive specialty training in surgical oncology.

Dr. Hazard is a board certified radiation oncologist and member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology. She has specialized in pancreas and gastrointestinal malignancies. She completed medical school at the State University of New York at Buffalo, and currently practices in Tucson, AZ

Dr. Jawed is a Medical Oncologist at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence KS. Dr. Jawed specializes in the use of novel molecular tools and targeted therapies for the care of patients with Neuroendocrine and gastrointestinal malignancies.

Dr. Martincic completed residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Vanderbilt University.

Dr. Thumma is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.

Dr. Schlegel received his medical degree from Rush University in Chicago, and completed residency and a fellowship in oncology at the University of Utah.

Dr. Call is a Radiation Oncologist in Spokane, Wa. He received an M.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin. His residency was at the Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Fairbanks is a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist in Spokane, WA, Residency training at Johns Hopkins Hospital, MD degree from Tulane University School of Medicine.

Dr. Lamoreaux is a board-certified Radiation Oncologist in Spokane, completed an MD at the Univ. of Utah, and residency at Washington Univ. in St. Louis.

Dr. Parviz, board-certified surgical oncologist in Spokane, WA; earned MD at Med. College of WI and surgical oncology fellowship at VCU in Richmond, VA.

April D. Davis is a combined Registered Dietitian and Clinical Exercise Specialist.

Tess Taft is an oncology stress management specialist and family therapist who has served cancer patients and families for 34 years.

Kathy Beach graduated with her RN degree in 1993. She spent sixteen years in hospital nursing where she worked on a wide range of units from Medical Oncology to Outpatient Surgery.

Dr. Lee attended Saint Louis University School of Medicine where he received his M.D. with Distinction in Research degree. He completed four additional years of specialty training in Radiation Oncology at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital.
