About the Author

Born in Hamilton Township, New Jersey, later adopting Bordentown as home, Bice shares her present home in the forests of Macon, North Carolina with her literary psychic cat,
Mz Lizzie. She penned The Readers Corner book review column for the Register News newspaper for ten years; has published five books on New Jersey history and three books of true stories of hauntings and paranormal phenomena. In addition, Life & Labyrinth and The Afternoon Crowd are memoir and poetry. She has received the Florence Poets Society Poet of Distinction Award and is published in several journals, anthologies, and chapbooks.

Bice is contributing editor on Sitting with a Drunken Sorceress and Life Preserved: Memories, both anthologies for the Warren Artists' Market. She volunteers as facilitator for three writing groups and hosts book signings for other writers.

Her next book's working title, It's Personal is an account of the author's personal paranormal experiences and will be out in the near future.

In addition to writing Bice uses the painting arts for expression and has won local and state competitions in both oils and watercolors. She has studied with the late internationally known Juanita Crosby. Artist Gail Bracegirdle led her to plein-air painting. North Carolina artist and teacher Dot Overby has offered guidance in more recent years.
